Kel Landis is a principal and co-founder of Plexus Capital, an SBIC mezzanine fund complex now in its third fund, with over $500MM in assets under management. He retired as the CEO of RBC Centura Banks, Inc. in 2004 after 25 years in banking. Landis previously served as an adjunct professor of finance at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. He is a member of the UNC Foundation Board . From 2012 to 2013, Landis served a term on UNC Chapel Hill’s Board of Trustees. In 2005, he was the chair of the UNC Board of Visitors.

Landis received both a bachelor’s and MBA from UNC Chapel Hill.
