Market-Based Solutions to Vital Economic Issues

Background

I grew up in Sheridan, Wyoming and attended school in Utah at Brigham Young University. While at BYU I taught Beginning and Intermediate Racquetball courses and was an active member of the Accounting Honor Society Beta Alpha Psi. While at school I met my wonderful wife, was married, and after graduation have had two sons.

Career Path

After an internship in public accounting with Ernst & Young, I accepted a position as a consultant with Berkeley Research Group performing financial and economic analyses in a litigation support setting. I chose to come to UNC Kenan-Flagler to increase my analytical skills to help companies leverage data for better strategic decision making. Kenan-Flagler’s community and commitment to its values made the program an ideal choice for me. I have an interest in academic research for my future, and the opportunity to work with Professor Bingham is a great opportunity to practice academic research and help companies make better strategic decisions.

Interests and Hobbies

At Kenan-Flagler I enjoy participating in the MBA Ambassadors program, and Marketing and Technology Clubs. In my spare time I love to play with my two boys building train tracks and running around the playground. I enjoy baking bread, playing frisbee, taking vacations, and reading.
