uVCIC (undergraduate venture capital investment competition) is organized by undergraduate students of the Carolina Entrepreneurship Club (CEC) at UNC Chapel Hill and is supported by UNC Kenan-Flagler's Center for Entrepreneurial Studies.

uVCIC is designed first and foremost for the undergraduate student experience. Each student team plays the role of a VC firm that must go through the entire VC investment process in an extremely condensed time period. Teams read business plans from entrepreneurs currently seeking VC funding and structure deals with an entrepreneur after watching the entrepreneurs' pitches and interviewing the entrepreneurs. Teams are then evaluated on how well they identify and mitigate risk, understand the VC process, and communicate and work as a team.
