Ted Zoller

T.W. Lewis Clinical Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, Faculty Director of the Entrepreneurship Center, UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School

Ted’s research focuses on the role and structure of entrepreneurial networks and the interrelationships within investor syndicates.

He is the founding instructor of Launching the Venture, which has increased the number of companies to spin off from UNC to lead national benchmarks. He also oversees Launch Chapel Hill, a new venture lab that supports UNC teams that are moving to the marketplace, and is president of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship,.

Ted received his doctorate in business administration from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, master’s degrees from the University of Virginia (in economic development) and Syracuse University (in public administration), and a dual bachelor’s degree in government and English from the College of William & Mary.
