Market-Based Solutions to Vital Economic Issues

Background

Originally from Coatesville, PA – about an hour outside of Philadelphia – I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Political Science/Pre-Law degree.  After working in political communication, I received a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law, where I also met my wife.  Two judicial clerkships, four years at a small consulting company, and two kids later, we are incredibly excited to be in North Carolina and part of the Kenan-Flagler community.

Career Path

In my last two years at the consulting company, I led a new role focused on improving the efficiency of our project and business development efforts, identifying new markets for our services, and strengthening the employee experience.  Working to try and enhance the performance and strategic direction of our company, I discovered a new professional passion.   Pursuing an MBA at Kenan-Flagler was a natural next step to prepare myself for tackling more complex business problems on a larger scale.

Interests and Hobbies

I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family, following Philadelphia sports, and playing basketball.  I am also a co-owner of a CrossFit gym back home, where I used to be a trainer.  (Here, however, time spent working out has significantly declined since the start of Mod 1!)  Originally stemming from an internship with a member of the Irish Parliament, I am a keen follower of Irish politics and sport, including a brief stint playing hurling, and I try to visit the country whenever I can.
