Judith Cone, former vice president of emerging strategies for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, seed funder of the Carolina Entrepreneurial Initiative, has been named UNC's special assistant to the chancellor for innovation and entrepreneurship. She is advising the chancellor and university on ways it can expand the breadth and impact of its programs in these areas.
