Carolina Entrepreneurial Initiative
"turning ideas into enterprises"

Innovations Fund

The Carolina Entrepreneurial Initiative's (CEI) Innovations Fund provides competitively awarded grants of $5,000 to $50,000 to UNC faculty and staff to develop high-impact, sustainable new entrepreneurship programs for students, faculty and staff.

The grant program keeps the CEI vibrant and relevant to the needs of the UNC community.

Past grant funds seeded development of artistic and scientific tracks of tthe minor in entrepreneurship, the graduate certificate program in entrepreneurship, the UNC Business Accelerator for Sustainable Enterprises (BASE), and Vinyl Records, a nonprofit campus organization that promotes student artists.
